Calling DC-Argentine Artists

The Embassy of Argentina is planning a juried exhibition in Philadelphia this fall and has put out a call to Argentinean artists living in DC and six Mid-Atlantic states.  Selected works will be showcased during Argentine Week and remain on display at Philadelphia City Hall from October 29th to November 30th, 2012.

Conditions of Entry

Argentine artists from Pennsylvania are highly encouraged to participate and will be given first consideration in the selection process before artists from surrounding areas.

Argentine artists residing in the United States who hold a current visa, permanent resident status or naturalized U.S. citizenship are welcome to participate.

All artists 21 years or older can submit from one to a maximum of four pieces of artwork in jpeg format to the attention of Alfredo Ratinoff, Chief Curator, Embassy of Argentina via his e-mail address:arte@embassyofargentina.us .

The city of Philadelphia will furnish each participating artist with an art loan contract to be signed upon delivering the artwork and is mandatory in order to participate in the exhibition.
