Comunidad hola a todos! Porque no compartimos un poco y nos conocemos?
Nos encontramos realizando un documental sobre la comunidad Latina en DC denominado el Barrio y nos gustaría escuchar su historia: traigan sus fotos, sus documentos, sus películas VHS o filmes Super8, lo que tengan; la historia de la abuelita, de la mama, del vecino y del rey del barrio. Por el puro y simple gusto de compartir. Estaremos en la biblioteca publica de DC el día jueves a la próxima semana, 31 de julio.
Hello Everybody! Let’s get together and share our stories.
Hola Cultura is working on a web-documentary about Washington’s first Latino neighborhoods. And to tell it, we need your help. We want to hear your stories, see your photos, mementos and home movies that chronicle the tales of our grandparents, our mothers and neighbors—from the girl next story and the king of the neighborhood. It’s all part of who we are and how we came here. So please join us next Thursday, July 31, to learn more about “El Barrio,” the documentary, and share your part in our story.
