Fiesta DC is looking for volunteers

By | Published | No Comments

Wanna do more than just attend this year’s Fiesta DC? Organizers could use a hand next Sunday, Sept. 23, with the celebration that attracts thousands of people each year. Now in its 41st year, the festivities are moving to Capital Hill but will still feature live music, theater and other performing arts representing the cultural diversity of el mundo hispano. Besides acts on four stages, the parade of nations will feature dancers and folkloric groups from Latin America, Spain and the Caribbean, a children’s festival, science fair and more.

If you are interested in volunteering during all or part of the event, which runs Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., follow this link to register or email German Vigil at german.vigil@dc.gov.
