Photo Exhibition: ‘Together Alone’
The  local photographers group, Rooftop Collective, celebrate the quiet and intimate daily life of Washingtonians. The exhibition begins Nov. 16 and runs through Nov. 18 with an opening reception today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  at the Latela Art Gallery, 716 Monroe St. NW, More info

Dance: Bolivian Ballets Folclóricos

Local products: Harvest Bazaar
The Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School for adults hosts its first Harvest Bazaar featuring participants of the new Small Business and Entrepreneurship program who hail from D.C.’s diverse immigrant communities. On offer will be gourmet food items, baked goods, ethnic foods, catering services, artisan crafts and professional services, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Carlos Rosario’s Harvard Street Campus, 1100 Harvard Street NW. Poetry: Local poets Yao Glover and Sami Miranda
These two local writers celebrate the publication of their first collections of poetry to the accompaniment of musicians Pepe Gonzalez on bass and Deepak Ram on bansuri flute. Artist Electra Bolotas will also be feature at the free event that starts at 7 p.m. at the American Poetry Museum, 716 Monroe St NE, # 25. More info

Theater: Local group celebrates one-year anniversary
The local theater company, Teatro La Bolsa, celebrates its first year promoting Latin American theatre with a party from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Silver Spring featuring live music, karaoke, campfire, dancing, and artistic installation. RSVP and learn more

Music: Gaiteros De Sanguashington
