Mario Vargas Llosa and Junot Diaz will be reading and signing books at the National Book Festival today on The National Mall.

Vargas Llosa, the 2010 Nobel Prize winner and former Peruvian presidential candidate, reads at 3 p.m. and at 4:35 p.m. signs books.

Diaz, who won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize, has a new collection of short stories titled, “This is How You Lose Her.” He’s on at 3:40 p.m.

The official site is here.  Sunday’s Washington Post published an entire supplement with the lowdown, which also has a nice story on Rafael Lopez, the California artist who designed the poster (on the right) for this year’s festival.
