Talking Zapotec codices @ Mexican Cultural Institute

Next Tuesday, the Mexican Cultural Institute hosts a discussion of ancient Zapotec texts that give us a window into the lives of this indigenous group that considered themselves “the Peoples of the Clouds.”
Zapotec scholars Victor Cata and Emiliano Cruz Santiago will discuss the texts, as well as life in two southern Mexico towns known for their Zapotecan cultural practices.
