Today we launch a new weekly YouTube series with this video featuring Karen Zacarías. The D.C. playwright’s latest work, up now at Arena Stage in Southwest, uses humor to explore “nativist” themes, but not exactly the ones in the headlines recently.

 

 

Karen Zacarías, the award-winning Mexican-American playwright, discusses  “Native Gardens,” currently at Arena Stage through Oct. 22.
