Over the past year, Hola Cultura has been hard at work turning the interviews and local knowledge found here on HolaCultura.com into guided tours that highlight the traditions, history, arts, and cultures of our local Latino community.

Passing on the beautiful history of Washington, D.C.’s Latino community

3 Special Tours

  • Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights & Mount Pleasant neighborhoods.  Our walking tours bring the history of Washington’s traditionally Latino neighborhoods to life through interviews with artists, activists and long-time residents. Guided by Hola Cultura’s talented student interns, volunteers and staff members, these 60- and 90-minute tours highlight important local landmarks, inspiring stories, and pivotal moments in the making of a community.
  • D.C. Latino Murals Tour.  Starting this fall, we will launch a bus tour featuring some of the District’s most memorable and beloved Latino street murals. This 90-minuted guided tour travels across Northwest D.C. to share the stories behind the murals and the important role art played in the activism of the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s.
